The Opening Night on Oct 17th will feature short films and a feature drama:

UNACCOMPANIED:  ALONE IN AMERICA is a short film that shows what happens when children  appear in immigration court without a lawyer, and feature film PAPER  BOATS is about a man who seems to have lost it all that recovers his  will to live in the face of a tragedy & deportation - story about  the meaning of love, family and the pursuit of happiness.

2nd Night, Fri. Oct. 18th, selected Student Films will be featured alongside the award winning film SEADRIFT.

3rd Night, Sat. Oct. 19th, 1pm, Matinee featuring RETOURNADOS (THE RETURNED) and RAHEEL among others.  At 6pm, Recognition and Reception Night to conclude this year’s festival.
